Spain: Moho (Metal)

Location: Madrid, Spain (2003 - present);
Genres: Sludge;
Current line-up: Iñaki (bass, vocals), Edu (drums) and Raúl (guitar);

“MOHO is the product of spending several hours in the rehearsal room and the influence of cult bands like Electric Wizard, Bongzilla, Black Sabbath, High On Fire, etc…”

Garage Champion from Chotacabra (2008)

“The band starts playing live in summer 2003 receiving good critics. These first shows are the beginning of a series of gigs happening almost each weekend throughout the whole country.
In October 2003 the band goes on a mini European tour through France, Germany and Denmark. The response in these shows was really good so the band begins to make a name itself into the underground European scene. Everybody talks about their powerful live shows and musicianship.
Chotacabra from Chotacabra (2008)

During a break in that tour, the band records their first album 20 uñas, in Paris, in only session, which was released in June 2004 through Throne Records in Europe and Shifty Records in the States.
They play in more and more shows after that tour, until March 2004, when they go on tour again supporting BRAINOIL during 22 concerts in 22 days in countries like France, Spain, Germany or Belgium.
The public response is superb again and everybody that has seen the band speaks about the powerful live shows of MOHO.

Portugal: Löbo (Metal)

Location: Lisboa, Portugal (2007 - present);
Genres: Atmospheric Sludge; Doom Metal; Experimental;
Current line-up: Ludgero Urbano, Miguel Vilhena, Pedro Barceló and Ricardo Remédio;

 “The members of Löbo want to destroy the world with their music. Or maybe not. But they want to show the world there’s still some way to create something new and unique in music, by naturally accepting their influences and, at the same time, sublimating the numerous genres where these belong.

Dânaca from Dânaca (2008)

Their first EP – Älma – is another step in the construction of their identity, mixing metal, electro and ambient. They produce a 35-minute piece of work where every single note makes sense.
Älma is based on a musical territory where everything is related and where human awareness of death is being emphasized.
Carne e Sombra from Älma (2010)

Formed at the end of 2007 by João Vairinhos (Drums), Luís Pestana (Guitar) and Ricardo Remédio (Keyboards), the band played live for the first time in September 2008 and regularly ever since, with Renato Sousa (Bass) until the end of 2009.
These gigs led to a DIY tour that reached its peak when they opened for the American band Wolves In The Throne Room, in Porto-Rio, Portugal. They also toured as a guest band with Men Eater.

Nöite (2010)

About to launch their EP through the Portuguese label Major Label Industries – which discovered and produced Process of Guilt, The Firstborn and Thanatoschizo - Löbo are on a constant creative process."

Portugal: Men Eater (Metal)

Location: Lisboa, Portugal (2004 - present);
Genres: Sludge/Thrash Metal with Stoner/Doom Influences;
Current line-up: Mike Ghost (guitar, vocals), Paulo S. (guitar, vocals), Carlos BB (drums) and Pedro C. (bass, vocals) and Fábio J. (guitar, keys);

Lisboa from Hellstone (2007)

“Men Eater came together as a band in a pretty casual way, in the back seat of a van, while heading back home from a festival in Spain. Mike, Carlos, Sérgio and BB all had different projects. By bouncing ideas, all of a sudden, it struck them as a bolt of lightning why the fuck don't we start a project together? It took shape in a day and became a reality on the next.
After five weeks of rehearsals and with bass player João already on board, they decided to record a self-titled EP. A vicious bomb of sludge/crust riffs mixed with stoner and ambient influence.
First Season from Vendaval (2009)

Gigging pretty regularly, the quintet played all over the country sharing stages with names so diverse as The Ocean or Madball and by the time they started writing new songs, the buzz around them was already overwhelming.

Unfortunately, around that same time, the band decided to split with Sérgio but that didn't stop them. Fuelled by the excellent reactions they were getting, the four musicians (with the guitar player Mike now also handling vocals) faced the composition of new material with a newborn confidence. «HELLSTONE», the debut full-length record, is a perfect reflection of that. The album contains ten powerful songs, which were built on the foundation already set on the EP while also bringing a whole lot of different influences to the table.”

Hellstone is followed by Vendaval, in 2009, and Gold, their new album, released in 2011.
